Drew Shoals Collective & Trio Subtonic @ Goodfoot Thursday Night, PJA Playoffs
Are you ready to dance like Kevin Bacon in Footloose? Then come on down to the Goodfoot (2845 SE Stark, Portland) tomorrow, thursday April 24th @ 9pm to watch the 3rd and 6th seed of the Portland Jazz Association’s (PJA)* Western Conference duke it out. My band, the Drew Shoals Collective (aka Phoenix Suns) dominate the first half from 9pm-10:30pm. Halftime show: DJ Paper cuts and hopefully a dude in a furry suit jumping off of trampolines to dunk. Second half: Trio Subtonic (aka San Antonio Spurs) starting at 11pm. My starting five include John “Nash” Nastos, Farnell “Hill” Newton, Ben “Stoudemire” Darwish, and Damian “Diaw” Erskine. I guess that makes me Shaq. Trio Subtonic includes veterans Galen “Parker” Clark, Bill “Bowen” Athens, and Jesse “Duncan” Brooke. Should be a good game…….uh, show.
